We are in the middle of an online connection revolution, as so many of us look for new ways to stay connected to work, family, fun while social distancing.

I’ve been using Zoom for about three years to deliver both Volunteer Management Training and our Kids Kitchen training “Cooking from Scratch with Young Kids”

In the current Coronavirus / Covid-19 situation, I’ve been:

  • Delivering free starter workshops for those new to online video calls, looking at how to make them interactive and keep that sense of community.
  • Working with Kids Kitchen to take our interactive cooking sessions online – our training has been live and online for a year, so this made it much easier to make the shift and still maintain those all-important community links.
  • Supporting a comedy club to find and use the appropriate technology to take their night online, keep their community entertained and support their acts.
